For all trust funds administered by the World Bank a "single audit" is conducted every year based on an assessment of the Bank's internal and financial management controls. The Bank's procedures and controls are subject to annual review by an external auditor. World Bank practice is to provide donors an annual management assertion together with an attestation from the Bank's external auditors concerning the adequacy of controls.
