Afghanistan: Expanding Microfinance Outreach and Improving Sustainability Project

 

IDA Grant Amount: USD$ 30 Million

 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This grant aims to ensure the continuation of the Microfinance Support for Poverty Reduction Project, being funded through the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund (ARTF). The additional funding will help improve outreach to poor people across Afghanistan and increase the ability of microfinance service institutions to become financially self-reliant.
