Overview

tanzania picWBIFP's investment climate team hosted a workshop in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, aimed at identifying and addressing the reasons for lengthy delays in resolving commercial disputes in parts of the Tanzanian legal system. In the context of two overlapping government programs, one aimed at legal sector reform and the other at improving the business environment, the objective was to identify priority actions that could be implemented to reduce the court delays.

Approximately 100 participants, from private sector, financial sector, government, academia and the judiciary, including four senior judges from the High Court's Commercial Bench.
